Dahmer’s point of view
Chronology
An anthology series about high-profile crimes or murderers that have gained public attention and notoriety. Evan Peters [Jeffrey Dahmer] says there was one rule Ryan Murphy [Creator] told them to follow entering the series: never tell him. "As an audience, you don't really sympathize with him. You don’t really put yourself in his position.

You prefer to look from the outside.". Many episodes feature a 3M Command(TM) tape in Jeffery Dahmer’s apartment kitchen, set no later than 1991. 3M debuted the first wave of Command(TM) products in 1996. When I clicked to watch the “Dahmer” edition on Netflix, I thought it was going to be the umpteenth documentary about him.
The acting is excellent
But what a surprise it was to see that it was actually a miniseries of Dahmer’s crimes. And what a miniseries it is! The script is top notch! One of the best cinematographers I’ve seen in a serial killer true crime!
which depict crimes committed by notorious killers
I’m a big fan of Mindhunter, the series about the origins of the FBI’s behavioral science division. And I have to admit, Dahmer is a good fit for this type of show! The show had me hooked from the very first episode and was a single binge from then on. I know there are many other movies like «People’s Magazine».
It seriously deserves 9 stars!
But what Netflix presented with Dahmer is a whole new level of performance! The People’s Magazine films are only amateurs compared to the Dahmer series. Netflix really surprised me with this great show! And I don’t give a 9 star rating easily!
