Daniel arrives in Beijing, where Mr. Han is looking for him. Han has a new student, Li Fong. The two mentors must work together to mentor Li Fong, but it remains to be seen whether their approaches to training will be compatible. On November 21, 2023, Sony released a video featuring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan announcing that both are returning for a new film, as well as a global casting call for the new title, The Karate Kid.
