You don’t really empathize with his plight
Chronology
An anthology series about high-profile crimes or murderers who attracted public attention and became famous. Evan Peters [Jeffrey Dahmer] says that they had one rule that they followed from [creator] Ryan Murphy, starting with the series: It would never be told from Dahmer’s point of view. «As a viewer, you don’t really sympathize with him.

You rather watch it, you know, from the side.» The 3M Command™ strip is shown in the kitchen of Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment in many episodes, the last action taking place in 1991. 3M debuted its first wave of Command™ products in 1996. Evan Peters has seriously surpassed his work here.
In addition, the cinematography and music were impressive
His acting was top-notch, and his portrayal of Dahmer, from his clothes to his expressions, was perfect, perfect down to the last detail. And besides him, the acting of the other members of the cast (his father, his mother, grandmother, Glenda Cleveland and the victims) was also excellent. The script and writing were also decent, especially the fact that they didn’t take many creative liberties, and therefore the story turned out to be close to real events.
But overall, it’s a must-watch
The only thing I found a little disappointing was the length. The pace was a little slow, especially in the last few episodes, and I think the series could have easily been packed into 8 episodes instead of 10. Especially for those who are interested in the crime thriller genre.
And that’s what makes it a bit unique and interesting to watch
It’s a realistic look at one of the most famous serial killers in our history, where they didn’t romanticize him and, in fact, freed those who were prone to it.
